Arland Mews has an active waitlist and we are not accepting new applications at this time.
Application Process:
Submitting your application does not get you added to our waitlist.
The membership committee screens applications to choose applicants who best fit our need for members and qualify based on occupancy and income requirements. Only those meeting the requirements will be contacted for an orientation and interview session.
When a unit is scheduled to become vacant, or when we need to build our waitlist, we will invite a few of our pre-screened applicants to an interview session. The interview will give us a chance to get to know you, explain how our co-op works, discuss our participation policies and answer your questions. At the interview you will be asked to provide the application fee along with copies of last year’s CRA notice of assessment and proof of current income (3 consecutive paystubs or other proof of income). The fee is $20 for single parent families and $30 for couples.
After the interview, the Membership Committee will decide on the best candidates and have credit checks completed by our property management company, who looks after our finances. Those applicants who pass the credit check will then be presented to the Board for review and final approval for membership.
If you have been approved for membership by the Board, but not offered an available unit, you will be added to the waitlist and contacted again when future vacancies arise.
